Barrow County Christian Academy
Our academy is a K5-12th Grade school that began in 1980. We exist to give Christian families the option to have their children raised with an education that reinforces a Christian worldview. Tuition is approximately $3,500 per year. We use School of Tomorrow / Accelerated Christian Education. Visit the BCCA tab for more information. (770) 867-5746.
Transportation Ministry for Youth and Seniors
On Sunday mornings and evenings, we have vans and buses that pick up children and adults in our community for worship. Vehicles also run on Tuesday evenings for a youth Bible study and meal.
Please contact Tom Emerson at 770-352-4014.
Choir and Instruments
Our choir practices on select Wednesday evenings at 6:30 PM. On occasion, the youth showcase their instrument abilities during our worship services.
Lilburn/Whistleville Choir Cooperative
Throughout the year our choir and instrumentalists join forces with the Lilburn Christian Church choir and orchestra to present special concerts. Dwayne Wylds, Minister of Music at Lilburn, is our director. To learn more contact Dwayne at 770 789-9731.
The Wednesday before Thanksgiving, our church offers a free meal to the people in our community. Members prepare food and roughly 1,000 people are served every year.
Once per quarter, we team up to help an individual in our community with work around their home.
Every January we stake 600 white crosses on our lawn to remind people that life begins in the womb. We mourn for the million babies that are aborted each year in the U.S.
Nursery is provided for infants through 2 year olds during our morning worship and Sunday School hour.
Our toddler room (ages 3-5) is located on the lower floor of our worship building. Class is offered during worship and Sunday School hour. 1st-5th grade can enjoy Junior church during the 9:30 worship hour. They have age appropriate classes they can attend during the Sunday School hour (10:30-11:30).
Middle School and High School students worship with adults. During the Sunday School hour, young men and women (6th-12th grade) enjoy a class specifically designed for them.
We have a young adult class (post-high school-early 30s) taught by Nathan Frazier. Also, we offer a middle-aged/senior adult Sunday School class with teachers that rotate each week. Each teacher covers a variety of Biblical studies and topics.
